When and Where is Stars of Texas?

Stars of Texas runs October 9–11 at the Historic Texas Motorplex in Ennis, TX. We’re just 40 minutes south of Dallas and about an hour from Fort Worth, making it an easy drive for a Texas-sized weekend.

What tickets are available?

Single-day tickets are available Friday through Sunday in GA and GA Plus, with all tickets giving access to music, lanterns, and bull riding. Weekend passes include a Super VIP option with stage-front seating, private bar and restrooms, and VIP parking.

Which days have lantern releases?

Lantern launches happen Saturday and Sunday only. Saturday’s release will take place before Brad Paisley's headlining set, and Sunday’s launch will happen before Travis Tritt's set—listen for instructions from the stage.

What happens to the lanterns?

Every lantern is cleaned up—every single one. Our Lantern Chaser crew, in partnership with Night Lights Event, works through the night to make sure the skies glow but the grounds stay spotless.

What is there to do?

It’s the best of Texas all in one weekend. The Stars of Texas Music Festival kicks off the Stampede of Speed—the Fastest 10 Days in Texas, with three nights of live country, lantern releases, BBQ, racing, bull riding, and more.

Why should I buy tickets now?

Stars of Texas uses tiered ticket pricing, which means each tier has limited quantities and prices increase as tiers sell out. The earlier you buy, the lower the price — and once a tier is gone, it’s gone. If you want the best deal and the widest selection of ticket options, purchasing early is the way to go.

Can I camp at the festival?

Yes! Camping will return for 2026. We are finalizing camping options and pricing now, and full details will be announced Spring 2026. You’ll be able to stay on-site all weekend just steps from the music, lanterns, racing, and activities.

Do I have to pay extra for parking?

No extra surprises—all parking and fees are included in the ticket price. Buy online now at Last Call pricing and save compared to gate pricing.
