Depends on where you’re coming from! 🙂
Here are the approximate driving times from a handful of cities and landmarks:
Standard parking is included with your order automatically at checkout. Parking is charged per ticket NOT per vehicle. You’ll also have the option for VIP Parking which gives you a separate entrance and a shorter walking distance to the venue space, for an additional $20 per vehicle (cash only). We also have ADA parking available on-site. View our Venue Map here.
You can purchase tickets for Stars of Texas Festival on our website at https://www.starsoftexas.com
Single day and weekend passes are available for purchase. Ticket types include General Admission, Reserved Access, and Super VIP.
A Priority Access kit can be added to your order for $13.99 per ticket. The kit includes your entry wristbands, a printed copy of the waiver, a sticker pack, and other goodies. Priority access allows you express entry and the ability to skip the long lines.
We understand that plans can change and it may be inconvenient for you to attend. If you are concerned about the chance that you won't be able to use your tickets you can add Ticket Protection to your order. See REFUNDS section below for additional info.
Ticket Protection must be purchased for EACH ticket that you'd like to protect — in other words, if you place 2 separate orders (for 4 tickets each) and only 1 of the orders has Ticket Protection selected, then only the tickets in that single order will qualify for a refund.
Our tickets work on a time & quantity tier system. This means that our ticket prices increase as we get closer to the event. Basically, this means that the price you see now is most likely the lowest the prices will be for the rest of the season. We like to reward our customers for buying their tickets early. :)
Children 6 and under are free and don't need a ticket to enter the event. All attendees age 7 and up will need a ticket to enter the event. A single ticket includes admission for one to the event area and a lantern kit if you purchase a ticket for October 8th. We don't offer or sell spectator passes.
Similar to a sporting event or concert, Stars of Texas has a no refunds policy. We are a rain or shine event and this means that if you purchase tickets and cannot attend for any reason, we do NOT issue refunds (unless Ticket Protection is purchased).
All refund requests must be submitted BEFORE the date of the event.
Ticket Protection allows you to claim a refund for:
Ticket Protection does not include a refund on the price of Ticket Protection, processing fees, transfer fees, or any other fees not listed above. Ticket Protection does not include coverage for any other expenses including travel, gas, flights, or hotels. Any shipped Priority Access kits must be returned to qualify for a refund.
If you are owed a refund we can only refund the original purchaser to their original payment method. No exceptions.
Tickets are non-transferrable and cannot be used for any other date, except for the date printed on the ticket. If you cannot attend the event, your tickets CANNOT be transferred to a future event and must be used in the same season that they were purchased.
Contestants will smoke their best entries for chicken, ribs, and brisket to battle for more than $10,000 in cash and prizes. Fans get to be the judges for some of the best grub Texas has to offer.
The Beer Expo features breweries from all over the DFW Metroplex and offers samplings of the best craft beers the area has to offer.
In partnership with Night Lights, fans will release thousands of paper lanterns. It is a beautiful sight and creates a memory you will never forget.
Saturday is a nostalgic Texas Country lineup! We’re excited to announce performances by Clay Walker, Sawyer Brown, Diamond Rio, Blackhawk, and Ricochet.
Our lineup for Sunday is just as amazing… We’re excited to announce performances by Midland, Ian Munsick, Wade Bowen, William Beckmann, and Tyler Halverson.
We've worked closely with both state and local officials, as well as fire marshals, to ensure our event is executed safely and legally — especially with regard to the lighting and releasing of lanterns. Night Lights has received a permit for lighting and releasing lanterns. (In most places, this practice is illegal unless you have a permit in place.) The lanterns that Night Lights use are specially-designed. They are 100% biodegradable, flame retardant, and have a fuel cell with a quicker burn time designed to fully burn out before returning to the earth's surface.

The lanterns that we use are above industry standards and have been scientifically created and tested to leave no footprint. The lanterns are 100% biodegradable, flame retardant, and contain a fuel cell designed to fully burn out before the lantern returns to the earth's surface. Each event is equipped with an experienced staff of lantern chasers who retrieve and gather sky lanterns for 48 hours after the event to ensure grounds are left clean and undisturbed.
We recommend bringing camp chairs and blankets. Strollers and wagons are ok, but the venue doesn't allow coolers. Dogs, pets, or other animals are NOT allowed unless they are an ADA certified service animal. Food, drinks and alcohol are NOT allowed, however a sealed water bottle is ok to bring. All bags, purses, backpacks and items brought through the gates will be subject to inspection.
